Daniel Mangin

Daniel Mangin

Back in the day, Daniel hitchhiked his way across the U.S.A., and though he never ran into Holly from Miami F.L.A. (or Lou Reed), he encountered enough intriguing people and places to fuel a lifetime of wanderlust. He counts Chichen Itza, Oaxaca, Michoacán, Rangoon, Mandalay, Pagan, Sichuan, Xi'an, Paris, Rome, Shanghai, Death Valley, Banff National Park, and Chiang Mai's hill country among his favorite stops. The author of Fodor's Napa and Sonoma and a coauthor of The California Directory of Fine Wineries: Napa-Sonoma-Mendocino, he has also written or co-authored books about California, New York City, San Francisco and the Central Coast wine region.
