Tong certainly was the "go to" guide a few years back before Covid. We have hired Wandee at Wandeetours.com a number of times over the years and never been disappointed with her service, quality or alarmed at her prices, always been good value.
Wandee is good company and has taken us on some magical private tours both in the city and out and is believe worth considering. Going back for more later this year .

Just a follow up- sadly not going to make it back to Thailand in 2024, but now going in February 25. Will take a few days in Bangkok then travel north to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai . places already very fond of and still so much more to see and re visit.
Then take a side trip to Cambodia, am getting on in years so while still reasonably active must see Angkor Watt. Plan to make full use of Fodors forums for information on Phnom Penh 4 days and Siem Reap. 4 days then back to Bangkok.
So much helpful information available in Fodors forums - a great way to spend a gloomy UK evening reviewing and planning.
Thank you to all forum contributors for smoothing out some possible bumps and quality advice! Greatly appreciated .

Unfortunately she supported wildlife attractions that were definitely against the guidelines put forward by FodorsFodors has a clear stance against animal tourism that exploits animals. They have specifically excluded elephant rides from their itineraries and actively promote responsible wildlife tourism. They encourage travelers to choose experiences that prioritize the well-being of animals and contribute to conservation efforts.
Here are some key points about Fodors' policies on animal tourism:
